Brief description…
Yala is a national forest in the southern shoreof the island. The forest is home to many animals and plants common to the dry zone of the country.
A small portion of the forest, designatet as the Yala national park is open for the public to visit. You are guaranteed to see Elephants and Deer in their habitat, in addition to many species of birds and reptiles.
